Pioneer of corporate social responsibility (CSR), Geneviève Ferone Creuzet founded Arese, the first extra-financial rating agency in France, in 1997, and was a principal contributor in developing socially responsible investment (SRI). Recently a member of the executive committee and director of Eiffage Sustainable Development (2006-2008) and Veolia Environnement (2008-2013), she founded the Specialised Master’s in “Industrial Ecology” at Centrale Paris, and the consulting firm Casabee, dedicated to sustainable organisational models and resilient cities. Geneviève Ferone Creuzet is member of the board of several international foundations and NGOs, and holds a Ph.D. degree in law.
Social entrepreneurship and new philanthropy specialist, Virginie Seghers led ADMICAL (the main network of French corporate foundations from 1995 to 2002), and she has played a defining role in the birth and evolution of the modern philanthropic framework in France. An independent advisor to many French and international companies for more than 20 years, she created the first French graduate curricula in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and social entrepreneurship, at Sciences Po Paris and ESCP-Europe. She is the co-founder of the movement of Social Entrepreneurs (Mouves) and a member of the board of several international NGOs and foundations.
